Coast
Environmental
Law submitted
the following
comments
to the
Ministry
of
Energy, Mines
and
Petroleum
Resources
in response
to
the
November
4,
2009,
draft
Environmental
Protection
and
Management
Regulation
under
the
Oil
and
Gas
Activities
Act.
While
pleased
that
a
new
regulation
regarding
the
environmental
impacts
of
oil
and
gas
activities
in
British
Columbia will be established, the groups
expressed
serious
concerns
with
the
regulation
as
proposed.
