In 2024, momentum continued to build across Canada’s electric vehicle sector. The year’s efforts explored the role of clean fuels in decarbonizing freight, identified barriers to charging and proposed practical solutions, supported small fleets in making the shift to electric and highlighted the significant public health benefits of electrification.
Infrastructure continued to expand, investment grew and innovation advanced across the sector. These developments are helping to shape a more competitive EV industry while contributing to long-term economic and health outcomes from communities across the country.
