About the 3rd AFN Climate Gathering

The Assembly of First Nations’ (AFN) 3rd National Climate Gathering, under the theme “Catalyzing First Nations Climate and Conservation Leadership for Transformative Change,” will bring together First Nations experts, leadership, youth, women, Knowledge Keepers and other professionals from coast to coast to coast to address the most urgent issues of our time, the climate crisis.

This gathering will explore solutions that First Nations are implementing in response to rapid climate changes at local, regional, national, and international levels. For First Nations, a healthy environment is essential to our health, well-being, culture, languages, water, food security, and housing.
