Retrofit Canada Conference

Decarbonizing and adapting existing homes and buildings

The 4th Annual Retrofit Canada Conference focuses on industry updates, challenges, opportunities, best practices, and lessons learned across Canada's retrofit community. The theme is Decarbonizing and adapting existing homes and buildings to ensure equity and climate resilience.

The event gathers over 300 attendees from government: federal, provincial, and local, multi-residential and commercial real estate developers and owners, pension funds, community housing societies, Indigenous and First Nation communities, utilities, banks, impact investors, general contractors, ESCOs, architecture and engineering firms, LC3 groups, research institutes and universities, and specialists in HVAC, passive buildings, building envelope, and smart/green buildings. It is the only event specially designed for Canada's retrofit sector, and offers increased networking opportunities, interactivity, diversity, and actionable insights.

Betsy Agar, director of the Pembina Institute's Buildings program, serves on the conference advisory board and will be giving opening and closing remarks each day.
