Quotes

“Capital markets will be critical in the effort to move from an emissions-intensive to a net-zero economy. Linda Coady has a long history of working collaboratively on sustainability, social responsibility and on frameworks for environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, not only at Pembina Institute but with industry and academia as well. We offer congratulations to Linda and welcome her contribution to this important area of work.”

— Thomas Marr-Laing, chair of the board of directors, Pembina Institute

“As a new federal government strives to help limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius and realize commitments to advance mandatory climate-related financial disclosures, issue billions of dollars worth of green bonds, and develop a net-zero capital allocation strategy, the expertise of the Institute for Sustainable Finance will be crucial. I am pleased to join this important council.
