The Association of International Automobile Manufacturers of Canada (AIAMC) commissioned the Pembina Institute to conduct a study of fuel quality regulations in Canada compared to leading jurisdictions internationally. The study identified several fuel characteristics and regulatory approaches where Canada lags behind other nations, and makes recommendations for improving fuel quality in Canada and reducing the overall environmental impact of transportation in the country.
