This report provides information for potential investors to assess CDM opportunities in China. The report starts by analyzing China's record in supporting the Kyoto Protocol, and its preparedness to implement the CDM. It reviews the types of projects that would most likely be accepted by the Government of China and other stakeholders in the country. The report includes a review of Chinese government policy on the CDM, provides an inventory of GHG emissions, describes experience to date on other GHG reduction programs such as AIJ, and provides an analysis of CDM project opportunities in each sector.
