Pembina Institute Experts Available to Comment on Chief Conservation Officer's Annual Report (Advisory)

Peter Love, the Province of Ontario's Chief Conservation Officer will be releasing his annual report on Ontario's progress on energy efficiency on Wednesday November 8.

Dr.Mark Winfield, Director of the Pembina Institute's Environmental Governance Program, and Roger Peters, the Pembina Institute's Senior Technical and Policy Advisor on energy efficiency and renewable energy will be available to comment on the Chief Conservation Officer's report following its release.

Dr. Winfield and Mr. Peters were co-authors of A Quick Start Energy Efficiency Strategy for Ontario (www.pembina.org/pdf/publications/quickstart_Final_Apr0606.pdf), published in April 2006. The Pembina Institute has also published a study of successful U.S. State energy efficiency programs, including programs in California and Vermont, in August 2006.
