From fracking to fish, public forum takes on BC LNG issues

VANCOUVER / COAST SALISH TERRITORY — All signs point to Canada’s government announcing its decision on the fate of the Petronas-backed Pacific NorthWest LNG project by October.

In advance of this important regulatory milestone, the public and media are invited to a web and telephone forum on liquefied natural gas development in British Columbia.

During the one-hour event, speakers from across B.C. will discuss key concerns surrounding PNW LNG and other projects, including First Nations rights and impacts, climate change, fracking, economics and salmon. A Q&A session will follow.

The Issues With PNW LNG in B.C. is presented by the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition.
