Sarah Hamza is a technical editor on the Pembina Institute’s Communications team. She has more than 15 years’ experience working for the Alberta Energy Regulator (and its predecessor) as an editor, coordinator and team leader, and was the lead editor in developing Alberta’s methane emissions requirements. She has also been involved in the non-profit sector for close to two decades, including as a watershed coordinator and executive director for the Elbow River Watershed Partnership, and as a board member for the Bow River Basin Council.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Environmental Design in environmental science from the University of Calgary. A born and raised Calgarian, she has lived on four continents and loves swimming, cycling and scuba diving.
