Rosa Brown is a senior analyst with the Renewables in Remote Communities program and is based in Ottawa. Before joining the Institute, Rosa lived in the Yukon for over two decades, where she worked with Indigenous governments and self-government bodies. Her work mainly focused on wildlife and land co-management provisions of modern treaties, and more recently, Indigenous clean energy.
Rosa completed a Master of Sustainability in energy security with the University of Saskatchewan and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an honours specialization in wildlife biology from the University of Guelph. Outside the office, Rosa is adapting to an urban environment. You'll find her exploring local bike trails and beaches.
