
Ceileigh McAllister is a part-time analyst with the Pembina Institute's buildings program, working from September 2024 to May 2025. Based in Toronto, she is applying a lens of ecological economics to deep retrofits to uncover the value proposition.
Ceileigh is completing a Master of Social and Ecological Sustainability degree at the University of Waterloo, after an undergraduate degree with a focus on systems thinking and ecological economics. At the university she is also supporting the integration of climate change education across "non-disciplinary" units.
She has worked at the federal and municipal level on a variety of climate mitigation and adaptation priorities, and spent two years with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Canada to deliver programs related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
