Brendan Glauser is the Pembina Institute's senior director of communications. He began his career in journalism, then spent 15 years leading communications with three national NGOs and a full-service marketing agency, most recently as director of communications with the David Suzuki Foundation. He is based in Vancouver.
He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Thomas University and a master’s degree in media studies and music from the University of Western Ontario. His work in journalism and communications has earned awards from the Atlantic Journalism Awards and the International Association of Business Communicators. Brendan is a committed environmental and social justice advocate who stands for the full recognition and adoption of Indigenous rights, title and sovereignty.
