The Pembina Institute organized a media tour of an exciting green building under construction in Vancouver. The Heights, a six-storey, 85-unit market rental residential building, is being built to super energy efficient specifications — targeting Passive House certification.
The architect, builder, developer, and experts from the City of Vancouver, Passive House Canada, and Pembina Institute were on site to talk about the mixed-use project and how it relates to the city’s Zero Emissions Building Plan, B.C.’s climate plan, and the pan-Canadian framework on clean growth and climate change.
