Salmon, LNG, and the Skeena Estuary: What are the risks?
Climate implications of Pacific NorthWest LNG
In the lead-up to the federal government's decision on the Pacific NorthWest LNG project, the public and media were invited to a web and telephone forum on liquefied natural gas development in British Columbia.
During the one-hour event, speakers from across B.C. discussed key concerns surrounding PNW LNG and other projects, including First Nations rights and impacts, climate change, fracking, economics and salmon. A Q&A session followed.
The Issues With PNW LNG in B.C. was presented by the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition.
Participation was free of charge, but online registration was required.
